Dream: Can You Be Bothered? A New Day - Finish the Race

Introduction - Dream

Do you know how many times I have to restart this ministry? I will never stop, though. I never will. There must be someone out there, and I am calling for you. Wisdom is calling.

Time is starting again because I am dreaming. Last night I had a dream. In this dream, I was at work, and I asked everyone to do a task that was a little extra but helpful to them (a simple form). I thought it would go over well, but I was completely wrong.

Some resigned, some complained, and some simply did not do it. A few did do it but begrudgingly.

My motivation for assigning the task was that I, in the past, performed a similar task that benefitted me, and I felt it would benefit them. I thought they would be inspired by how a little hard work can pay off for growth that may be intrinsic instead of extrinsic. I was wrong, but I prayed to Jesus Christ about the meaning, and here is the interpretation.

Interpretation: Avoiding Small Tasks Against God

This dream represents how people have completely forgotten effort in any regard to Scripture. In the modern world, churches have focused on Romans, Ephesians, Phillipians, etc., and these are all beautiful books. However, they have forgotten the Gospel. They have forgotten Proverbs. They have forgotten 1 Peter. Here are some reminders from Scripture that may have been forgotten:

Matthew 25:21 (Parable of the Talents) “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” Small effort — faithful with a few — rewarded with joy.
Luke 16:10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Effort starts small. Trust starts small. Love starts small.
Zechariah 4:10 "Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?” Small things matter. The temple was rebuilt with small, faithful steps — and God rejoiced.
Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Effort isn’t flashy. It’s persistent. You don’t give up — even when weary, even when painful — and the harvest comes.
Colossians 3:23–24 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Today, we cannot forget the little things. It may seem futile. Right now, I have every reason to give up, but I feel like there is someone out there still reading, still believing. That mustard seed of faith? That's not little to God.
