The Church is Dead - Long Live Trumpism

If Christians were awake and had even one eye open, what is happening in the American Evangelical Church would be the sum of all fears - their worst nightmare come to life.
And yet, they cheer it on. Duped, fooled, swindled, by a master conman - "You knew I was a snake when you took me in."
The host is slowly realizing the parasite's bite is real - the numbing agent is wearing off, the psychoactive toxins are seeping into the nervous system, and soon the host will not be able to move at all - paralyzed. Breathing will slow, then stop, then Death is next.
"Behold, a pale horse - and it's rider's name is Death."
Last Sunday, Witness 2 and I decided to go to a local church, to get a feel for how the Christian community is doing.
The results were shocking, and even worse than we expected. After the usual lazy, poor, and uninspiring "worship" songs, we were hoping to get a sermon.
Sermons, in church, right? Isn't that what people used to do?
Instead, we were treated to an almost hour-long propaganda video of the type that would make Mao and Stalin blush, even as it disingenuously used them to push a narrative. This was high-level propaganda, part of an organized campaign that is infiltrating the church to turn them into a political arm of the anti-Christ, Trump, and trick them into thinking Christianity is a political message, and we should be fighting a culture war on behalf of Jesus. I predicted during the video that it was part of a larger, highly-organized campaign of deception, and lo and behold, immediately after we got home we saw another local church advertising the same video.
Let me be clear - if you think that Jesus wants us to be fighting about politics and waging a hateful culture war on his behalf, you need to go back and start over by reading the Gospels again.
This is Christianity 101, literally Sunday School stuff - no, Jesus did NOT come to establish a political Earthly kingdom or to fight culture wars - if he had, don't you think he probably would have fought against the Romans in that way? Don't you think he probably would have been successful at it, too?
This is one of the main things about Jesus that people hate, and they hated back then too. This is one of the primary reasons that the Jews had him crucified - they realized that he wasn't going to start murdering and slaughtering Romans left and right and establish the New Kingdom of David that they were longing for, where the Jews would subjugate the Gentiles forever and live as kings on the backs of their servants.
Like I said, if you don't understand this, then you need to go back and start over with your theology. Read the Gospels and really think about Jesus's message.
This video started with the classic rhetorical bludgeon of Stalin, Hitler, and Mao, and honestly, I'm so tired of people using these divisive and intense 20th century characters to push a narrative.

It's time to grow up and leave this childish nonsense behind. Stop using the same old rhetorical tricks to push your agenda.
Christianity is not a culture war. It is not a political party. If you are wasting all your time focusing on hating trans people, what books are being read in schools, and how BLM was founded by Marxists, you aren't spending your time and energy how it says to in the Bible - helping others and loving your neighbors.
Christianity is not a political movement. Jesus was not a politician. Evangelicals are a rotting corpse - this church appeared alive on the outside, but there was nothing real left.
The church as a whole, like it or not, will be dead one way or another within the next few decades. There was a room full of grey hair, almost no one under 50 or 60 in the building. There were two teenagers who played on their phones the whole time and clearly couldn't care less about any of the nonsense and hate they were spewing.
Then, there was us, and no one seemed to particularly care if we came back or not. When they asked if we liked it, I said "We are looking for something a little more Bible-based and Christ-centered, I don't agree that Christianity is a political movement." The name of Jesus was almost absent from this "service", but even when they mentioned it, it could not have been more clear that "His name was on their lips, but their hearts were far from him."
If you think Jesus would spend his time on Earth making hateful videos with cheap rhetoric about LGBT people and BLM, then you are wrong.
Either we are right and the world will end soon, or it's the end of the world for these American churches anyways - they are dying, and honestly, at this point they 100% deserve it.
The church is dead - long live Trumpism!
Enjoy your new religion, you asked for it. What is happening in churches today is NOT Christianity, it never was, and it never will be.
