Thesis 21: The Pre-Tribulation Lie of the End Times Church

This is Thesis 21 of the “End Times 95 Theses by The Two Witnesses of Revelation", a parallel of the work Martin Luther did hundreds of years ago. This thesis (Thesis 21) will explore the false pre-tribulation rapture doctrine of the end times church. My previous theses for reference are at the bottom of this article to save room.

One of the most common views of modern end times Christians of the lukewarm church is the pre-tribulation rapture; however, this theory is simple to debunk in a few verses. For those who do not know, there is a belief that Christians will avoid major suffering in tribulation, being lifted up, as the world suffers, before anything comes upon them. While this sounds nice, thematically, the Bible explains Christians do suffer for Jesus Christ, so even at first glance, this doctrine goes against thematic understandings of Biblical suffering as part of being followers of Christ:

John 16:33 — "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
2 Timothy 3:12 — "Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted."

In fact, one of the major themes of all my writing has been this: If a Christian is highly comfortable all of the time, be suspicious. While God provides us with peace, I am talking about comfort in the world. When we truly follow Jesus Christ, the comforts and idols of the world often crumble. Again, thematically, a pre-tribulation rapture does not match the context of suffering in Scripture.

Let's go to the verse that destroys the argument though. 1 Corinthians 15:52 states, "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." This is one of the "go-to" verses for the pre-tribulation rapture theory. When does this "twinkling of an eye" occur? It occurs at the last trumpet. Here is the concordance view of the verse:

"In 1722 a moment 823, in 1722 the twinkling 4493 of an eye 3788, at 1722 the last 2078 trump 4536: for 1063 the trumpet shall sound 4537 5692, and 2532 the dead 3498 shall be raised 1453 5701 incorruptible 862, and 2532 we 2249 shall be changed 236 5691."

First and foremost, the last trumpet is referencing Revelation, which occurs after great suffering. No one is raised until suffering occurs. Here is a summary of trumpets of Revelation:

First Trumpet (Revelation 8:7): Hail and fire mixed with blood fall to the earth, burning up one-third of the trees and all the green grass. [1, 2]
Second Trumpet (Revelation 8:8-9): A huge burning mountain is thrown into the sea, turning one-third of the ocean into blood and destroying a third of sea life and ships. [1, 2]
Third Trumpet (Revelation 8:10-11): A blazing star named Wormwood falls on a third of the rivers and springs, making the water bitter and causing people to die from it. [1]
Fourth Trumpet (Revelation 8:12): A third of the sun, moon, and stars are struck, darkening a third of the day and night. [1]

The Last Three Trumpets (The Three Woes)

Fifth Trumpet / First Woe (Revelation 9:1-12): Locust-like demonic creatures emerge from the Abyss to torment people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads for five months. [1, 2]
Sixth Trumpet / Second Woe (Revelation 9:13-21): An enormous army released from the Euphrates River kills one-third of humanity. [1, 2]
Seventh Trumpet / Third Woe (Revelation 11:15-19): Announces that the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of Christ, signaling eternal divine reign and the final ultimate climax of God's plan. [1, 2]

Truly, the last trump (or trumpet) comes after great suffering. Further, the context of 1 Corinthians 15 indicates "flesh and blood" cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Those who are raised up incorruptible must be purified. Generally speaking, whether Christians like to hear this or not, purification often comes through suffering. Revelation is a purification of everyone, especially the people of Jesus Christ.

We are not done yet. Revelation itself makes it clear that great suffering happens to the saints. Saints, as used in Revelation, are the true living followers that go through tribulation. Revelation 13:10 states, " “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people." This verse alone shows clearly that Christians (saints) will suffer through tribulation and Revelation 14:12 clarifies, "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

Now, there is a 144,000 and remnant that is protected, but that does not mean they do not suffer. Further, Jesus Christ comes back, and there will be some sort of rapture, but even then, we do not know the day or the hour (Matthew 24:26) or even all the details, as some it appears to be a mystery. What we can know about Scripture is this: True Christians suffer, and yes, they will likely go through the tribulation. Now, I am not against other theories of the rapture which involve suffering, where after the 7th trumpet, Christians may be removed from something even greater. Even so, I am not betting on it nor am I creating theories for my comfort. Rather, I know for a fact that there is no pre-tribulation rapture, and that I have already been suffering through Revelation (as have also others reading). If you have not been, you may have already been part of the Great Delusion as stated in 2 Thessalonians 2.

Finally, let us look to the Schofield Bible for the beginning of the deception on the pre-tribulation rapture. In 1909, a Bible was introduced to the masses with biased commentary which still greatly influences the churches today. The Scofield Bible contains annotated commentary that has left modern Christians with misguided views of Zionism, influencing nearly every church in America then until now - the end times. Christian Zionism is based on severe propaganda regarding the true Israel, bloodlines, and more.

Further, the false doctrine of the pre-tribulation rapture was largely reinforced by the popularity of the Scofield Bible. There are also links to Scofield, the Rothschilds, and the overall Zionist agenda. Of course, this is called “conspiracy” but Christians must pray and discern (Isaiah 8:12).

No matter what, we should all be questioning Zionism, “left behind” eschatology, and false views of Jesus Christ prominent in the end times. Yes, Jesus Christ is coming back soon, so we should get our garments white and truly ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us all open and hidden agendas of popular Christianity. Generally, we do not need Bible commentaries, but we do need to read Scripture and ask the Holy Spirit for revelation. Unfortunately, many dead churches are following Scofield’s doctrine, and that has led where we are now.

So, then, here is my declaration. Wrath has already begun, and my prophecies are being fulfilled as I write this. Floods, earthquakes, sicknesses (sores and more), financial instability, the escalation of the Red Horse, and yes, suffering are all upon us.

The hope is this! Listen.

I have suffered immensely for years now, and I am still at peace. It is because Jesus Christ is worth this - He is worth everything. I do not regret a day of suffering because I have been refined in the fire, and He always gets me through. Here is Paul's Secret:

10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned for me but had no opportunity to show it.e,* 11 Not that I am referring to being in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.* 12 I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.* 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.*

Paul has learned that he can be content in any circumstance. If you are truly following Scripture as it says to, then so can you. My testimony is proof of this, and it is written throughout the blog and will be revealed in the coming weeks and months even more deeply.

Jesus Christ, I have found the secret, and you are everything to me. I am content even in my suffering because of you.

So, then, who will join me in breaking out of this grand delusion and prepare for His second coming. I am ready and excited. Are you?
